Taking place on the 27th of May, the Bupa London 10,000 is presented by London Marathon, the same team that organizes the Virgin London Marathon.
The BupaLondon 10,000 starts and finishes in St. James's Park and takes in many of London's famous sights, including Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The London Eye, Cleopatra's Needle, Tate Gallery, Millennium Bridge, Bank of England, St. Paul's Cathedral, Horseguards, and Nelson's Column. Buckingham Palace acts as the backdrop to the start and finish.
Boasting a field of elite, club and charity runners, the course takes in the proposed route for the 2012 Olympic Marathons, so you could hardly get a more inspirational location than this.

Entry for the Bupa London 10,000 is through an online entry system. Places are restricted, so early registration is recommended to guarantee your place.

Run for charity in the Bupa London 10,000
There are two ways that you can run for charity. If you have your own entry in the event you should contact the charity of your choice and let them know you would like to help them.
For those without their own entry, there is another option. All of the charities listed on the Bupa London 10,000 site have their own entries and in return for a pre-agreed amount of sponsorship they may offer you a place. However they are likely to receive far more enquiries than they have entries. To contact a charity go to the charity listings.

Many of whom have acquired a head injury as a result of car or skiing accident . I have worked for the charity for 10 years and it really is amazing www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk'
