Dates: what they say about you
Choose a date that reflects your personality
What does a date say about you? Your date will judge you on your choice of location, venue and activity, so you need to think about what you choose to do and how it reflects your personality. Take a look at these dates and see what they say about you:
The expensive restaurant date
Positives: the finer things in life come easily to you and you have the style and finances to make this date a success. You are a serious traditionalist, who thinks the best way to get to know your date is to have long, lengthy chats.
Negatives: you love to wine and dine your crush, which is great – if you’re paying. If you arrange to meet somewhere fancy you should expect to cover the bill. If you don’t pay, they’ll think you’re going to be high maintenance and pushy.
The theme park date
Positives: you are one of those people who are constantly smiling. You love life and are not afraid to take risks. For you, life is about fun and dwelling on the worries of life is not on your agenda. Your relationship will be a whirlwind.
Negatives: although at first a theme park may seem like a cute and innocent date, perhaps you’re more cunning that you first appear. Studies have shown that taking your date somewhere where they experience fear leads them to misinterpret that feeling as love.
The coffee shop date
Positives: you’re a laid back, confident person who doesn’t need razzmatazz to impress. You care about a lot of big issues, but would love to lavish your caring side on someone in particular.
Negatives: a coffee shop meeting is laid back, but it could be too laid-back. It may be that you have commitment issues. Or is this date a disguised “screen-test”, where you judge whether they are either second date or friend material?
The cinema date
Positives: you’re the stern and silent type who is looking for a monogamous, long-term relationship. You’re honest, approachable and straight-talking. Your date will be treated well and you certainly won’t be checking out that hottie who just sat down in the row in front.
Negatives: perhaps your confidence has been knocked by a few bad relationships and you’re not comfortable dating again. This date lacks creativity and shows that you might be a safe-bet fling.
Cocktail bar
Positives: you are a charismatic, confident charmer who loves dating. All you have to do is look into someone’s eyes and give them a flash of your mouth-watering smile. You know all of the best venues in town and you know how to get in without paying.
Negatives: this will not be your first date of the year, month or even week. Dating is your hobby, which is why you are great at it. For you to stay faithful, you’ll have to find someone incredible. Until then, your guard remains firmly up.
The zoo
Positives: you are a fun, good-natured person who has an extremely sunny disposition. You like spending money on experiences, not things and you get the most out of life. Your relationships will never get into a dull rut and you really like the person you are taking out.
Negatives:a zoo date is fun, but does it tell the other person that you are immature? Can you take life seriously?
Although your relationship will be lots of fun, it may be too changeable for those that like stability. Although your relationship will be lots of fun, it may be too changeable for those that like stability.

jewellz 'That's funny, my first choice was the zoo. Although I usually get taken to the movies with "no pressure" to talk or to a nice dinner "to impress me" with food/money. Men have been taking me to the wrong places all along. Thanks'
