Many a woman has probably worn out the VHS version of 'Dirty Dancing' and moved on to the DVD and Blu-ray, in addition to buying the two soundtrack albums that the film spawned.

The plot sees teenager Baby (Jennifer Grey – although she was actually 27 at the time!) meet dance instructor Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze) during her summer break. He sweeps her off her feet and she becomes his dance partner – and much more besides – despite her parents’ disapproval.
You’ll probably identify with the character of Baby, who despite being relatively ordinary manages to get her man. And the famous line ‘Nobody puts Baby in a corner!’ will still elicit a feel-good response – even if you’re watching the movie for the umpteenth time.
