How to get involved in archery

Useful tips and contacts to get started

There are many archery clubs in the U.S to choose from. Some specialize in particular types of archery such as 'Field' or 'Target', while others cover all types of archery. On joining a club, new members generally pay an annual subscription, which varies from club to club. A course of four starter sessions, which usually involves the use of basic equipment, would cost in the region of $40.

If you feel inspired to give archery a try, then the USA Archery Organization should be the first port of call, and they’ll be able to point you in the right direction.
