Diving is the United States' most celebrated Olympic sport. Not only is the USA the most successful country in Olympic diving but the sport is also the county’s third most prolifically successful discipline in their history at the summer games. Furthermore, when you consider that only the vast categories of athletics and swimming sit above diving in country’s the all time medal haul, diving can officially be named America’s most successful Olympic sport.

The USA has a massive 131 medals in diving in the Olympic Games: 48 gold, 41 silver and 42 bronze.
