Harvey 's had it

Part of the nuturing experience for me was to get a dog. I have had Harvey the springer spaniel for a year now. The lady at the rescue said "he'll run for miles" pah!
He seems to adopt an "I cant be arsed" attitude after ten minutes of continuous running. As any longer and he begins panting and drags behind and I am left looking like the accused in an animal cruelty case.So my running buddy has been consigned to helping me on the warm up an no more .
Running in the country lanes is FABULOUS I must admit. Quite liberating watching the views as I run past without the fear of a stream of white van men, giving it "the stare".
So far Ive done twenty miles in my first week of building a base up. Not bad - but the legs do need some work in the gym.
