Haven't blogged for ages coz boyfy's internet connection's been down, but we seem to be back in business now.  Accidentally had a rest week this week, but last week did 3 or 4 really good sessions.  My gym membership has run out!  I've decided not to renew it, and I'm thinking about joining a running club instead.  I also want to take up archery again.  I took it up at university and got really in to it.  It's great for back, upper body and core strength.

I'm going to try out some running clubs, probably starting after Easter.  Also, next week, might try getting up early and going for runs before work, although, the evenings will be lighter, so might start doing evening runs.  Will have to be really motivated, coz motivation for going to the gym was to get my money's worth, so need to find something else to focus on now.  Any tips, quips and kicks up the bum would be much appreciated.

Realise this blog is a bit rambly and all over the place but want to get up to date with where I'm at.  Will start blogging sensibly (ish) again with next post.

    The addiction is real...

    • Russell_Nimbus 'I've been running in a club since January. I run Tuesdays and Thursdays with the club and either a club run, race or long slow run with run-buddy on Saturday/Sunday. So as you can see I've pretty much stopped visiting my gym. I pay £16 for my annual membership to the running club as opposed to £600 for the gym! It's also only £7:50 for a one-off visit to the local council gym/swimming pool (where the running club meets). Its a no-brainer really. I'm going to cancel my membership and enjoy an extra holiday once a year! You wont have any problems with motivation once you join a running club (except It will be the fun of running and meeting people rather than the need to get your monies worth).' added 24th Mar 2007
