About

Right, where to start?  I started running (actually, best not exagerate - it was more a jog come stumble at the time) as a way of keeping fit now...

Still here!

Nov0720119:11 p.m.

Ish anyway.  I'm still alive, still training and still working my socks off.  But my job is in the process of being made redundant so I've been busy job hunting (new job starts Monday)!

However!  I have been training hard.  I've been following the FIRST training program (although the cross training has generally been limited to one a week, with a full time job and 3 young children finding the time is a challenge) and have achieved some new pb's.  I now have a 48min40seconds pb for my 10k, 81min10 seconds for my 10 mile and am hoping to really improve on my 1 hour 58 something half marathon on the 20th November at Gosport.

Of course the big news atm is that I have the London Marathon to look forwards to!!  Whoop whoop!!  Just hope that my knees, which the physio says are definitely not designed for running, hold up.  Fingers crossed the Glucosamine/chondroitin supplement due to arrive any day, coupled with the exercises she has given me and a sensible training plan (again courtesy of FIRST) see me through.

Most of my training goes onto endomondo now, and as a result I won a pair of winter running tights.  More facts and figures rather than blogtastic, but again it's a time issue!

Hope everyone is well,

EllsBells
