'Running to the Limits' - Running documentary

Hi guys,

Today is Friday and it is video time! I have an absolutely stunning documentary for you to watch by a guy called Alex Vero that aired on British TV this week. Alex was a 16 stone, obese, heavy drinking filmmaker who decided to find out firsthand what it takes to become an international marathon runner.

The documentary does not just concentrate on Alex’s journey to run sub 2.20 at the London Marathon but also touches on the decline of British male distance running. The stats show that in 1985, 102 British male runners ran under the elite time of 2 hours 20 minutes for the marathon, only 5 managed this same feat 20 years later.

This lasts 45 minutes and will inspire you to get out running over the xmas holiday! Follow the link below and enjoy!

I will interview Alex next week about how he got on and what lessons he learnt. If you have any questions after watching the documentary let me know and I can ask Alex.
