    well of a fashion anyway.

Last week went ok, efforts with the club on Monday, then a couple of 5 milers on Wednesday and Thursday. Decided to rest Friday and Saturday before embarking on the first of the monster runs. Went out with the club, with the route meaning to be either 14 or 16. Knowing Stuarts calculation decided to do the 14.

Kept a nice steady pace until about 8-9 and the first big hill, which seemed to sap the energy levels. Perservered though until about 12 when the body started screaming at me. Turned into a wlak/jog for the last bit, but did managed to clock off 15!! Luckily didn't go for the 16, as it turned out to be 18.5!! Please all in all, as got time on my feet and broke the back of the first proper lsr.

Rested Monday and Tuesday, then venture out for a 6 today up the canal. One thing I have found is that the first third of these short distances is great, the next third is like running through treacle and the last third is great. Seems to be no logic, but with running is there ever??

Out tomorrow and Saturday, with a 12 planned before work on Sunday.

    Catch ya later. x
