Back at it

Oct0620088:49 a.m.

The cold went from bad to worse, had me on the sofa for most of Saturday (grrr), and is on its way out now.  Still ever so slightly stuffy but it was time to try the detox route again.

A short two miles to see if I might be able to increase my pace a little.  Did the first 10 minutes at 6.0mph, the next nine minutes at 6.2mph, and the final minute at 6.4mph.  Sooo, did a smidge over 2 miles (2.03 to be exact) in twenty minutes.  Its amazing how much faster you have to go to see any difference at that short of difference, but that kind of pace over a four mile race would shave minutes off my time.  ooops, getting ahead of myself again. ;-)

I got my "you weren't successful" magazine on Saturday so that's three rejections down, two to go.

Ps.  THANKS CAZ for all your Tri help.  It's definitely on my mind and to have someone there to help me through would be fab.  I've promised myself not to plan too far ahead...yet,!
