Hi, 

My name is Heather Baxter, I live in Larne, Northern Ireland and I am just about 38 yrs old (until February!!).  I am married to Colin and have one son Glenn who is 13 (also until February).  I have managed to get a gold bond place in the FLM, having failed in the ballot.  I am running for Seafarers UK, which is a charity for the welfare of seamen and women and their families.

I started my marathon training just after the first issue of Marathon News back in the Summer, and started this blog just shortly afterwards.  After a few false starts with inuries, colds etc. I finally seem to be in proper training for April  22.  My aim is firstly to finish the race and hopefully in under 5 hours.  Fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly between now and April 22!!!
