Hello!

Hello!
Sorry for the huge gap in between posts. We have moved back to the UK and the move itself took up a lot of time and emotional energy. Since then we have move back into our old house and our two boys have started at their new schools. Two months of being back and it feels as if we were never away, let alone for four years! It was very sad to leave Madrid and all our friends there but equally it has been nice to get back and catch up with old ones again.
However, my delay in getting back to realbuzz has also been because of laziness. I have been meaning to post for such a long time and now that I have actually started some running again I feel that I can get back on here. I´ve been doing a fair bit of running again and even went out with my old club on Sunday and did 8 miles in the mud and rain. (oh, it´s good to be back!).
Just a short post today because I haven´t got too much to report and I just wanted to make myself write SOMETHING as a start!
Best of luck to Bo running the Chicago Marathon for the second time on Sunday - what an absolute wonder that man is! I´m just amazed by him.
Take care, looking forward to catching up with you all again.
p.s. I guess I need a new blog name too...sigh!...

emmteeyess 'yaay! - Hola, Hola! Great to see you back on here - and back on the run. So many of the 'old school' seem to have dropped away, it's good to see a familiar name again. Looking forward to a full update Cheers, MTS New blog name could be 'Miles FROM Madrid'' added 7th Oct 2010

klebe 'Welcome back - you've been missed! I've been pretty sporadic on the running front myself - maybe you'll spur me on! As for a new blog name - what about a simple translation to 'Hello', although Hola still seems pretty good and will be a constant reminder of the Madrid Years' added 7th Oct 2010

malcolms 'Welcome back to Blighty! Why change your blog name ? - mine's called a "running diary" but really it is a list of sad excuses... 8 miles in mud and rain is a definite start! well done' added 7th Oct 2010

b0alvarez 'Good to hear from the Madrid correspondent. It is Spain's loss and England's gain again. Thanks for the shoutout in your posting. Am excited about running it again. Maybe I get to see Nessie again here in Chicago. I like the title suggested by MTS. Cheers. Bo' added 7th Oct 2010

Muffs 'Welcome back. Don't worry about a name so much. After all "what's in a name?". Far more important than that is what's the next challenge? Could there be a marathon for next year? Come and join me in Nottingham in September or Snodonia in October. All so exciting. Great to have you back.' added 7th Oct 2010

crooxi 'Yesssssss! - she's back! I bet it was quite a wrench to leave Madrid after 4 years. But now you have the British winter to look forward to! I'll keep a lookout for 'Miles in Milton Keynes' or whatever.............' added 7th Oct 2010

tinabee 'Good to see you back and glad to hear you are still running. Don't change your name. To so many of us you are 'Hola'! You need a couple of goals to work towards to keep you motivated. Oh and by the way - you don't have to be running to blog here. We are a nosey lot and just love to know what people are doing either way!' added 8th Oct 2010
