  Have you ever … Channelled your inner child?

   

  Sometime during January I came the realisation that I had  somehow managed to make it to twenty nine without ever seeing a proper pantomime or visiting the circus ( I know it is a crying shame and I blame my ambiguous upbringing for this travesty.)

   To put this right I had a Roo family outing to Southport in January to watch Shane Ward play Prince charming in a rather unique Snow White. I shouted “boooo” and “he’s behind you” with the loudest voice and the most enthusiasm of all the children ( batting my eyelashes and doing a little finger wave of course) whilst dodging a drowning by water pistol and sweetie missiles!

  This was by far the most fun my inner child had ever experienced…. Then I experienced the circus!!!

  Expecting clowns, acrobats and daring feats of bravery I was not disappointed, but I was overawed! I veered from hiding behind my hands to nearly jumping on my seat. The smell of candy floss and hotdogs with bright lights and adrenaline all combined to make me one overexcited lady.

   

  It is now my overwhelming desire to run away with circus ….I wonder if they are looking for a new clown!!
