New Year Update

So as usual its been a while since I wrote anything!
Christmas has been and gone and now its a new, icy year.
The good news is that with constant stretching and massage AND reverting back to neutral shoes my painful right ITB problems seem to be diminishing. With this and despite the ice and snow the New Year has started well with several 7M + runs with no ITB problems.
Just prior to the New Year I did manage to fall off my bike resulting in the most strange ankle swelling I have ever seen. Several hours and an X-Ray later it was revealed that nothing was broken which was obviously a major relief.
So onto the last 16 weeks. Seems the last 4 months since I started this blog have flown by and I'm already starting to worry about running out of training time. Especially when my friend tells me she's already doing 15M and she's doing Brighton the week before. Really need this ice to melt now, either that or someone to lend me their gym membership........
