This Mother's Day, we're running the Santa Barbara Half Marathon. By "we," I mean my husband, our daughter, and me. And I'm so excited about it.

We've been running for a lot of years but I haven't been in an organized race in probably 20 years. And my husband has never been in one.

So we're off to Santa Barbara, where we'll celebrate Mother's Day on Saturday and run on Sunday.

I hope to remember the camera.
