Falling apart slowly

Sep2920119:44 p.m.

Well not exactly 100% at the moment. When I fell over at he weekend I think I did something to my foot - assume it was when I kicked the road barrier. Fairly painful and takes a little while to warm up. Hopefully nothing serious and will clear up but pain comes & goes. Added to that have been suffering from what can only be described as teenage acne at 43! Eventually went to doctors and its called rosacea and I have 8 weeks worth of antibiotics - think a horse would be on less treatment!

Anyway managed to fit in a short run today - 3.5 miles. Foot was OK and wasn't any worst at end of it. After warm up 6 X 400m efforts with 200m recoveries. Was fairly tough but necessary.

Interesting to see a few old faces popping back now they have been successful in the VLM ballot but hopefully others wont drift away if they were unsuccessful.

Hope all is well in your acceptance or rejected worlds.

Hope the foot feels better soon and manuka honey is very good for skin ailments - you can get it in any supermarket. Have it every day in hot water' added 30th Sep 2011
