I've been trying to get accepted into the London Marathon for 5 years - finally got in this year!

Now beginning to regret it, maybe i won't be good enough, maybe i'll get injured the week before the event and ruin the sponsorship, maybe my little legs just wont take me that far!!  Smile

Alternative indoor running

well it's my last day of enforced rest and was contemplating being naughty and goin outside for a quick 3 miles anyways, but no i was good i did as i was told and i have held off.

however i did get the old wii fit out and had an extensive jog round the living room much to alexs amusement :) i'd forgotten just how much fun it is and how difficult some of the muscle training exercises are - well mainly just the press-up one, i am absolutly useless at this!!

Did 3/4 of an hour and really enjoyed it and have been trawling through the fitness channels to find a suitable yoga workout for tomorrow morning. I really enjoyed the yoga exercises on wii fit so thought id try and fit a morning of that in a week and get back into it a bit - it's been awhile and im a bit out of practice:)

the plan is forming in my head for the week ahead and i can't wait to get stuck in, bye bye swine flu and hello running.

oh and simone yes i have been experiencing other canine behaviour, mainly in my yoga.. the downward facing dog, lol!! i dont think this is canine flu just yet but i will make sure i keep an eye on it :) he he!

hopefully my blog will get a little more interesting for you all to read now as it will feature training and not just me rambling on abuot how i have filled my boring rest days and moaning about just how bored i am.

plan for the afternoon? update the ipod ready for training and get all my running kit and stuff sorted out for the week ahead - have never looked forward to monday morning so much :)

k xx

LOL, with you and your yoga!
You sound rearing to go - have a great week, BUT do remember to ease back into it. You have been really unwell and you can't go mad straight off.
Enjoy that first run :-)

Enjoy, but slowly girlie... and keep an eye on those other canine symptoms, you know dry nose, cold ears, unwaggy tail...
