desperate dans chin

yes, desperate dans chin is what my poor legs look like, unfortunately i have been paying so much attention to my cornish pasty feet that i keep forgettin to shave my legs - highly unladylike and well minging i know but i have much more pressing matters on my mind.

going back a few days i was up pretty early for me on sunday and although my masterplan said a 5 mile run followed by decorating at alex's sisters house, i decided to give the run a miss. i was surpsingly ache free, just a few twinges in the hips when i first got up. i really do think my swim straight after my 20 miler did me soo much good, am going to be doing that again :D

so the day was spent painting undercoat on the woodwork, fun fun!! :D  but they want to move in soon and they need some help.

so then monday i decided would be my actual rest day, i nipped to drop more sponsor forms off with my dad after work and ten to see my nan and grandad and help them with their tv problems, then went home to boil a ham and make a coffee cake for alex. unfortunately i didnt have any icing sugar so its sat in the cake tin uniced :(

so onto today, more work and then i decided on a short 3 mile hilly run. managed it in 32 minutes - last time took 33 and my best is 31 - so im pretty happy with that time and enjoyed being out in the sunshine.

plan for tomorrow says treadmill run but if its nice weather again i may have to change this.

No lsr planned for the weekend as i have a tutorial for one of my uni courses and then more decorating planned for the afternoon on saturday and wont be doing anymore than 12 on sunday.

oh and one more bit of news. I have a new job!!! clearly the 20 mile lsr before an  interview was a good idea. yesterday they rang to offer me the position of Technician level 2 for transformation services :D woohoo!! more money, closer to home and te gym right on my doorstep - im as happy as larry. just waiting for written confirmation and for references and CRB checks to be completed. should be about 6 weeks before i start.

so now on top of my ridiculous business i now hav e anew job to think about. which is worrying me a bit as everyone keeps telling  i need to slow down and take a break but i keep finding new things to occupy me.

anybody able to clone me for all these different things i have on the go??

Right best go and ice that coffee cake :D

  • Firefly123 'Congrats on the new job and I think a shorter lsr this weekend would be very wise - I'm only doing 13 this weekend - a bit of step-back before the final two weeks. Honestly, with all your baking, decorating and training, superwomen aint got nothing on you!!!!' added 16th Mar 2010

  • simonedumergue 'Congratulations on the new job. Sounds all good. And you sound like a person who just gets on and makes the most of life, so I'm sure you'll find a wy to make it all work :-) Just make sure you deal to the leg hair before it gets long enough to plait :-)' added 17th Mar 2010

  • glen_b 'I admire anyone who fills their time up (I have a family, a stressful full time job, am on a couple of committees for the Chamber of Commerce, and I chair the Governors at my son's school), as I hate sitting still. Monday - Friday are non stop (well, an hour a day catching up on here recently has somehow fitted into the schedule), and then at the weekend, usually try and relax with the family! Congrats on the job!!' added 17th Mar 2010

  • Account_closed ''Technician level 2 for transformation services' What on earth does that entail ? It must be something in the public sector with a name like that. I'm off to google it ....... *Time passes* *About 5hrs and a lot of strange websites later* No, still none the wiser.' added 19th Mar 2010
