Obviously everyone is going to have their take on what for them rates better than sex, but never, ever would I have guessed that housework, mobile phones and the internet would be contenders.  

But this article cites these three, and seven other things some peeps would rather be doing than a steamy session between the sheets.  Okay here's the slimmed down version, but you can see full research sources and reasons why in the original article.

1. Housework - over 30% of women surveyed claim that "cleaning gives them more satisfaction than sex".

2. Dating a vampire - talk about random, but I suppose I'd abstain from sleeping with Angel if it meant he'd kill me.

3.  Weight-loss - 26% of mothers questioned would rather "lose 10 pounds" than "have more sex". 

4. Music - findings from a survey conducted by Marrakesh Records: "Music is hugely important, 60% of 16-24 year-olds would rather go without sex than music for a week.

5. Sleep - according to the Sleep Well website there are at least 10 reasons why sleep is better than sex. I think that's another post in itself.
