After finishing my Masters I got a placement on a Ghanaian newspaper as a journalist. I lived and worked in Accra, the capital and when that ended three months later I struck out on my own and crossed borders into Togo, Mali and Burkina Faso. This blog describes my experiences and feelings on what turned out to be a hard but rewarding adventure.
