Oh I forgot to say....

The boyfriend had another operation (no6) on his anterior cruciate ligament last week, following his footie injury sustained 13 years ago.
This injury over the years had brought his football to an abrupt end, but recently (mainly to help me get through my FLM training early this year) he started running again. He's a natural, unlike his elephant-in-running-shoes girlfriend.
Anywho, he got on the bed to receive his general anaesthetic and the anaesthetist said...."are you an athlete?!" His resting pulse rate was so low, they said he was superfit.
So, I HAVE NOT HEARD THE END OF IT!!
How is it that I do 1 marathon and I'm now training for no2 and I'm like a sack of spuds, and then ligament boy comes along and is called an athlete?!
Pah!!
I'm telling myself that it's just what you get when you go BUPA, they give you compliments to mend your ego too................
