Whistlin' Dixie by Mandy_Anderson

I've been training daily for the last 8 weeks, and am confident that I will not embarrass myself with my running this race.

I love pushing myself, but the irrational fear of embarrassing myself by, say, having my legs turn watery on my just before the finish line and having to quit make it unpleasant for me at times. I know, it's crazy. And I just run through it, but it's what has kept me from doing this so far. That waking nightmare that has to be just some strange type of anxiety attack.

But I know I can do this!
