Overview

After stumbling across Realbuzz.com a couple of years ago I have blogged my way through one or two 10 KM races, a handful of half marathons, the hellrunner, the Luton Marathon and to date one of my proudest sporting moments crossing the finish line of the London Marathon this year.

Throw into that the ups, downs and injuries I seem to pick up at will, while playing for my beloved rugby team Carrington RUFC of which I am Skipper and there you have the ingrediants for a Realbuzz Blog - If only I would keep updating it !

Another week down ...

My running seems to be contiuing in fine form of late. On Thirsday I had a five mile easy run on the plan. I decided to split it into two parts. The first 3 miles on road then pick up Jake for the remaining 2 miles on the trail. After setting off I felt great straight away and was soon into stride. First mile was just under nine miles. Took a different route and got back home with four miles on the clock with each mile being faster than the last.

Jake by now was wetting himself in anticipation to get out so we did another mile together to take my total to five. A nice slow cool down walk for quarter of an hour with some music capped off a great run.

This morning was another five mile run with DD on the Trans Penine Trail. Slightly new route up and ove rwhat DD says is an old land fill site. Slowed us down slightly but we still finished strong just as it was starting to heat up.

The training plan increases this week adding an extra run as well as milage so am looking forward to the challenge.

How many are running or watching C of M tomorrow ? I was thinking of coming over and watching if there are people running ?
