Hamstrung

With very little change in how my torn hamstring feels, I am making the difficult decision to suspend all activity except for swimming, stretching and upper body weight work. No stress to my legs at all. Except for the swimming, I will pretend that my leg is once again encased in a cast, making nearly all activity impossible. I will do this for two weeks, and then gradually add yoga to the mix. I will avoid any lower body work until the end of January, and that includes the spinning class I signed up for to prepare for a June triathlon. Then if my hamstring still doesn't feel better (after 6 weeks of rest), I just don't know what I'll do (other than call the doctor).
I welcome any ideas anyone out there may have.
