Last little run this morning. We ran 3 miles, little faster than I had planned,but it felt good. I did have a little scare when I rolled my foot on a fallen tree branch that I didn't see in the road. That's all I need is to twist my ankle 2 days before! But, all is well, and I made back safely.
I have my running shirt all ready to go. The ACS provides us with a singlet, that I like to personalize. I have my name on my chest, and a picture of my dad near my heart. On the back I have a picture of Mary, for whom I am dedicating my run, and I have listed on my shirt all the people that I am also running in memory or honor.
Trying to get all packed and ready to go. We aren't heading to Chicago until Saturday morning. My son has a soccer game, and hubby is the coach, so we will do that and then hopefully take off right after that.
Best of luck to all my fellow runners. It's going to be hot, so be careful, hydrate well and most importantly have fun!
