Today, i listened.......

..........To my body. And decided to take a rest day as I don't feel completely recovered from the weekend. I think that racing x-country in trainers took a lot more out of my body than I thought and then going out and doing a steady 11 just over 12 hours later in freezing conditions has taken it's toll a bit.
So the sensible option was to have a rest day and hit the shops instead.
So unfortunately I have no running to update you with but tomorrow will be another day. Time and daylight allowing I hope to get a 12miler in. then i'll start easing down for the County x-country champs which are this Saturday. It's a very tough 12k race over 3 laps with a very hard each hill each to tackle each lap so should suit my strength with the milege i've been putting in lately.

I've been a very naughty boy. Instead of running yesterday(New years day) I had a day off. I wasn't hung over, I just didn't fancy running. Today is a rest day... -
