Long time no write

Er.... ok, i haven't posted 4 a long time!....... want to know why? unbelievably, amid all the stuff about rooney's foot at the world cup, i broke the 4th toe on my right foot when i accidentally dropped my bedside cabinet on it (long story.....). anyway that's still mending at the moment, & i havne't been doing any running, so i'm probably not going 2 do the marathon....... will keep looking at other people's blogs though (i still have the urge to run, but......).

Going well
Not doin too badly at the gym, getting up to 25 mins on treadmill now...... exhausting but feel good afterwards,specially once i've done a workout... -

1st time back at gym, not bad
Well i was right.... absolutely knackered after gym sesson.... although i did 20mins fast runnin on treadmill, not 10.Got a 2nd wind after 15mins so kept... -

November seems ages away so havent started doing any serious running yet.Joined the local Total Fitness on wed tho - looks gud, loads of...

a_bet_made_me 'Steve DON'T GIVE UP!!!! Think really hard on not doing the marathon - if you have a good base fitness which by looking at your blog you have, use your determintaion in your head to get you around - don't overdo it but seriously think about it - to achieve a marathon after sustaining an injury is an added bonus - it may sound mad but what would it be like if you're sitting there on the day of the marathon and thinking - "I could have done that" - naturally one would go by medical advice - but go to a forward thinking doctor!!!!!!' added 25th Jul 2006
