M55 – BBBB Marathon

Sorry it's late - I spoke too soon when I declared that my last BBBB would be the very last one (best laid plans and all that). Yes, unfortunately I didn’t return to Gloucester to run another Gloucester Marathon. On the Friday before an announcement on their website confirmed the marathon had been cancelled due to the severe weather conditions. No one was surprised as most of the country was blanketed in snow and ice. To be honest I was pleased as I had been suffering with a bad cold all week (no not man flu). I would have run if it had been on but I would have really suffered, even more than usual, so was pleased the decision had been made for me and ended up spending most of Sunday in bed. That meant that plan B would be swinging into action and Patsi & I were going to be flying off to Hawaii - I was going to be running the Maui Oceanfront Marathon with my mate Traviss Willcox on Sunday the 27th - wake up Barry you're daydreaming again I heard a voice say. - If you would like to read more then check out my full blog here at http://60in60at60.com/2013/01/27/m55-bbbb/
