Spade work
Sep2720109 p.m.
Just been round to see a lovely lady - Helen Lees. She climbed Kili in 2003 with Kathleen and Sarah. She has kept a very good folder with lots of photos and info and gave us lots of handy tips such as nappy sacks to put your used toilet paper in. Then you can give it to the porters - those lucky chaps. Lots of kit advise and also raised the question of Diamox and whether to take it days or even a week in advance or wait till on the mountain. Um, needs some further investigation Anna. (She's the medical one.)
Planning to go to do some kit spade at the weekend. Source the best and buy it cheaper on line hopefully. Or better still try and borrow it.
