What a slacker

Ok, I've been a slacker over the past week. Wouldn't want you to think that the mojo-free run was my last! On Tuesday -- election day -- I got out early and ran three miles, which was good enough to make me think I don't totally suck. Between some erratic work schedules and the rapidly-shortening days, I didn't get another run in last week. So on Saturday I ran 15 decent miles at a 10:30 avg pace in some rather cold, blustery conditions. That was the extent of my long runs before Philly. I now have two weeks of taper, as if the past four weeks hasn't really been one long taper. I don't feel like I've got a whole lot of leg-speed at the moment, irregardless of some of the races I've been doing. My LRs leading up to Mohawk-Hudson were more in the 10:20 range. Still, it is what it is. Still figuring out what my goals are for Philly, if any.
