Now that the long run is over, we begin to taper, and I do everything I can to rehab my ankle and stay well until October 7.

My name is Josh. The 2007 Chicago Marathon was my introduction into the world of Marathon training. What an experience! For the first time ever, the event was stopped due to excessive heat. I was able to finish in 05:05:03 and (aside from the 1 fatality during the race), couldn't have been much happier with the outcome.
Mile by mile footage of the race can be found here. Currently, I'm recuperating and will begin speed training shortly.
