Having just been up to see the VLM 2012 I thought it was now time to get my lardy arse into gear and start my training for the 2013 race. Having run four previous times this time I am going to run it for myself as well as for the RNIB who I ran for due to my mums blindness. Since she passed away I have basically lost my motivation but now I am raring to go. I am determined to run a pb as my current best was 4:49 so am aiming to knock at least twenty minutes off it and hopefully get near the four hour mark. Should be a challenge as I will pass the grand old age of 50 this year.
