Need advice for running music!! by gesslera

Hi Chicago Marathon Friends!!!!

I have always run for fun and exercise, but this will be my first marathon and I am terribly excited! I have begun training mostly by swimming (great leg workout!) and some treadmill running (although I absolutely cannot wait to run OUTSIDE). I would like to get an ipod and run with music asap. I am a classical pianist/cellist so I have absolutely zero knowledge of popular music, and Beethoven doesn't quite cut it when running. I'm not big on heavy metal or rap, but something that inspires energy and has a good beat would be awesome.
If you have a minute, please tell me what you like to listen to while you run!
