A good month

HI all,
Having a good last 6 weeks, building up a good base been doing 3/4 good runs a week, with a long run,speed work session,tempo run and a recovery run a day after long run and seems to be going ok, done a 14.5 hilly run today which went well. decided to build a base this month then start a 16 week training plan at end of month in readiness for edinburgh!! a bit easier to do now as its a month later than london, which i started end of december for london! found all the advice and support i had off various people on this site very good last year! Did go on a bit of a downer after london last year as i picked up knee injury a couple of weeks after london which stopped me training for 3/4 months and had complete rest to help it
so hence the no post for last half of last year!!!!! BUT im back for some more

Skye_Trekker 'HI. Hope your training goes well for Edinbugh. It's meant to be a good course, so you should hopefully have I good race. I'm taking the easy option this year by just being part of a relay team - it's probably the closest I'll ever get to an actual marathon...' added 17th Jan 2011
