Why hello there Mr ITB BAand!
Apr092010noon
Well after what felt like the longest wait in history my date with Jim can fix it physio man arrived. After some prodding and wobbling it was soon clear that my lovely MR ITB band was the issue for my knee problems. So up I jumped onto the massage bed for some much needed pummling. Boy did it hurt. The good news is I have caught it just before my ligaments were damaged but I now have to cut out any longer runs untill the marathon! FREAKING OUT!!!! I'm so nervous and the fact that its only 2 weeks away now is just tooooooooo scary to think about! I am quite relived though to find that the calf roller i bought back in the summer apparently works wonders on the ITB band and is just as good as a sports massage! So I have lovely date with the orange beauty this evening!
I have finally booked my tickets to Aussie land to see my sister! I fly out on the 27th so 2 days after the big M (what was i thinking!) and I feel like a kid on Christmas eve! Ah its going to be a mad couple of weeks in Perth as we are like a tornado when we get together! Although the marathon has stopped my tradition of packing a month in advance. I think im hoping that if i dont pack the marathon wont be so close! Oh how stupid can you be!

glen_b 'Chill out, take it easy, don't run much, keep rollering, get packing, and then you'll be fine come the day. I bet you'll feel good after 20 odd hours cramped up on a flight around the world 48 hours after the marathon!!' added 10th Apr 2010
