Will October and 2010 was the last time I ran a full marathon.
Ran 2 marathins that year and had never felt fitter!
Anyway after a long break from long distances, due to injury and laziness, it is time to take on the challenge again!
Does running marathons before make it easier? I don't think it makes a huge difference to be honest. At the end of the day 26.2 miles is a long way to run and the training doesn't get any easier or shorter!!
Im looking at the schedule thinking can I really do this again? I mean I am 2 years older than last time!!
Deep down I know I can and I am not going to put myself under pressure by trying to beat my PB. And I also know this is going to be my last marathon!!
Sep19201011:12 a.m.Ran Dublin half yesterday and was delighted with my time of 1hr 55. I ran it in 2hr 06 mins last year! Feel much more motivated for the Dublin full marathon...
