I haven't run since VLM and I am absolutely gagging to get out there. Tomorrow I am going with Vicky for a seven mile jaunt. I cannot wait. It will BE SO ENJOYABLE, to run for and hour and have a chat! I want to love running again. I must admit all that training became a bit of a chore and I lost sight of my love for it (until race day of course, which I  loved)! Slowly slowly, readjusting! Got to remember to eat less!

Well today is the first day that I have felt vaguely normal since Sunday! For two days I couldn't manage stairs and was hobbling around in agony and exhausted from lack of sleep. I am now feeling quite good as i slept last night, pain free, for the first time this week! Still on a high from the fantastic experience, but beginning to wonder, What Now? Feel slightly lost in the world! Plan to start running again next week, but only the enjoyable 70 mins that keep me fit! I need a new challenge, nothing that involves fundraising as I have asked so much of everyone lately! Any suggestions?

What an amazing event! I loved every minute (except the final 800m). It was a carnival atmosphere all the way round. I even chatted to Priness Beatrice (as I zoomed past her) By 13 miles I felt like I had only just started and was so grateful for all the training! It was the most amazing experience of my life. Sorry to see so many people needing assistance. That was sad. But for me, everything went to plan, even the weather, and I didn't need to stop and pee! I am struggling to walk today, but it was well worth it. Hope you all had a brilliant day too. Lucyx
