I cannot fault the start taking just 10 mins to cross the start line (I was at the red start in pen 8)..... had a lovely chat with Sarah (hope you did well Sarah) who was also doing her first marathon and then I was off!  Managed my first 3 miles in about 28 mins and then felt like I flew through the first 15 miles!  Saw friends at 14 which was fabulous and then saw Mr Wood at 19 miles which was also fabulous!  As I hit 19 miles I tapped the man running next to me on the should and informed him I was now on a PB for distance as my previous longest run was 18.6.... well done girl he said you keep going!  and I did!  I was well on track for 4.40 with about 10 mins to spare but things started to slow down at about 20 miles.... I didn't care I was now in the 20's!  Ran a couple of miles with Zoe (temporary marathon friend who I will prob never see again!) and we had a nice chat and kept each other going... then I was off on my own again as felt I could speed up again.  I couldn't and promised myself a little walk at 22.... but when I hit 22 I thought come on Mason no point walking now you're nearly there!  And then I heard a WOOOO MASON shout and there were the girls from work giving me a wave!  YAY...... and I carried on!  and on and on until I crossed the finish line and burst in to tears!!!!

I RAN THE WHOLE LONDON MARATHON!!!!!!! GET IN!

Well done to every single runner, walker, crawler who made it over the line..... it's a fantastic achievement and I am so so so so proud to have taken part!
