The race to the Paris Marathon, the missus, the cat & work by northernsouthernmonkee

Course finished for the week at 2pm today, rewind 6 weeks and I'd of been in the pub at 3pm and prob drank steadily until bedtime. These are different times in my life, by 2.30 I was in the gym doing a cross training sesh because of sore shins.  45 min cycle and 25 min row completed. This cycling lark in the gym passes really quickly when reading a good book.Then I dodged a drink with some mates in favour of a quiet night at home.Wife and cat both pleased to see the provider return.  It's the missus's actual b'day on Sat so meal out planned after hopefully doing a long run in the afternoon.Run in morning is ruled out as she has planned an early trip for us to Westfield shopping centre by the Olympic site. Noooooooo, clothes shopping with women sends a chill through my body. I might have to disappear for an hr to get my marathon trainers and gait analysed.
