Final countdown

Apr1820079:21 p.m.

Just one little training run left to do then it's the big one.

My kit is ready, the iron on letters for my running vest are ironed on (a nice neat job if I say so myself but don't tell the good lady I used the iron) and the journey to the metropolis is planned.

It is all systems go.

We are leaving for the big city on Saturday morning and staying at the Novotel Tower Hill.

I will go to the Expo to register while the rest of the tribe go and see some of the sights. The kids are so excited you would think it is Christmas, birthdays and holidays all rolled together. Me, I go from excitement to fear and all stops in between

Just in case I don't get to do any more blogs before the race I want to wish everyone all the best on Sunday.

May the miles feel short and your legs feel strong.

May you do yourself justice.

May your God may be with you every step of the way.

Good luck and good running.

I'm crashing out on someones floor on Saturday night near Tower Bridge, across the river from Tower Hill. Are you catching the train from London Bridge to the start?' added 18th Apr 2007
