Overview

It's a long race that doesn't hurt until the 19th mile. Once you reach this point everything stops working.

I'm stuck at work with no sign of a release from this pain. This being the case i have decided to get some training in. I am doing fartlek to the water machine and slow jogs around my desk. Incredibly no one has asked me if the London Eye is open. I may do this everyday from now on.

It's amazing how planes stay in the air isn't it? I mean, they are just so heavy and what with all that luggage and stuff. Incredible.

Two things to remember before going out for a run ...

1.Warm up

2.Go for a number two

I've just heard that today is black monday. I think all days of the week should be represented by a colour. Pink Tuesday, Green Wednesday etc

4 miles this lunch time. It rained but was strangley nice.

For todays training i decided to do something a little different. Rather than run i went to the pub. It was amazing and i now feel really fit. I swapped an energy drink for a packet of pork scratchings and swapped pasta for chicken nuggets (the food of gods)

It took me 12 miles and me to screw up my iTunes the night before to realise that the new Razorlight album is shocking. In the end i turned off my shuffle and played Star Wars - A New Hope through (from beginning to end) in my head. When required i quoted the greatest lines out loud. A 8-10 year old school boy now knows that Luke Skywalker was infact "a little too short to be a stormtrooper" and a yummy mummy now knows that a brother and sister  "kissed just for luck".

A Japanese tourist also know s that Luke "turned off his guidence system" before destroying the Death Star. Hooraah!

Next Monday ... The Empire Strikes Back. Beware residents of Chelsea.

Dan Suter has filled my suit jacket pocket up with hole punch remains. The joke is on him though as i have been dating his mum for 3 years and when we marry i'll be putting a stop to his pocket money and late nights. Ha!

BTW : I have no idea if the London Eye is open today. I simply made a reference to it in a previous blog and for some reason i have received other emails asking about it's opening times and that of other London attractions.

A visit to the gym was in order today. The legs were aching a little after yesterdays run along the Southbank. I did the usual … 5 minutes lifting weights and then 25 minutes looking at my guns in the mirrors. 1001, 1002, 1003

It was nice. I ran from work along to Lambeth bridge an then down the Southbank. There were NO tourists however there did appear to be an increase in sea gulls. Where have they all come from? Incase anyone is thinking of going on the London Eye then don't bother it's closed.
