54 days to go!

Prior to running today, I thought I'd check my training schedule. Unfortunately, I realised I had done this weeks training last week! I thought the runs had suddenly got harder over the last week!! Not sure whether to repeat this week again or carry on to the next week...getting all confused now!!
Ah well, cant do anything about it now! I did a 5 minute warm up on the static bike, some stretching then went off on my travels. It was a beautiful afternoon so I decided to run along the canal...it was rush hour and I didn't want to breathe in the fumes. After Sundays run my right knee felt very tight and my left ankle was sore so I had a few concerns there. I ran for the specified 35 mins covering just short of 4 miles..must've have been a bit quicker than normal. I did the same as before, set my timer for 17.5 minutes, when it went off, I turned around and went back the way I came.
When I got home, I had another 5 mins on the static bike to bring my heart rate down slowly and did some stretching. My knee feels ok now but the area between my shin and foot is very painful. I find it very difficult to point my foot downwards..it feels very tight! I will have to see what I can do about it because this inflexibility makes it painful to run up inclines!
Enjoying my training still
