Week of March 22
This was a good week from both running and non-running perspectives. The C/P conference went well. I went to Montreal this past weekend with a couple of friends for some pre-wedding fun.
Monday: 5 miles AM, 5 miles PM easy
Tuesday: 5 miles AM, PM off (premarital counseling session!)
Wednesday: 5 miles AM, 13 miles PM with 8 x 800m at 5:15 - 5:20 pace, 200 jog rest
Thursday: 14 miles PM (13 mile tempo at around marathon pace)
Friday: 7 miles AM, PM off (drive to Montreal)
Saturday: 14 miles relaxed, up to the top of Mont Royale. Nice view!
Sunday: 10 miles AM, 12 miles PM
Total mileage on the week: 90. Got in some good rest this past week. This coming week will be the last high-volume/relatively high-intensity week, followed by 3 weeks of taper.
