Very odd to discover my blog still exists - feels quite surreal really - who is this person?

Some things have changed since I last blogged - others haven't!

I am now a personal trainer - yes even "people like me" can do it! (I am still shocked when people use that phrase - I think maybe I forget that I'm still - well - um - just a bit chunky - well certainly in terms of those who do triathlon or those who become PTs) - but there are a few of us out there - you know - real shaped people who love exercise and can motivate other people to do the same thing - now I'm not discriminating against those super skinnies - nor am I saying that beng overweight is good - well being obese is very bad we all know that - but for some of us being "overweight" is a major breakthrough!

I'm still training, still swimming, still avoiding cycling but now loving the running (although still not fast) Life is generally good although I am hating being really cold!

So that's me still tri-ing, still a bit fat but possibly a little bit more positve about it.  I am loving working with clients and really hope I can make a difference - you know it's not all about weight, its about feeling happy in your skin at a weight you can maintain that is reasonably healthy - stop beating yourself up and start living - you know - a size 14 is brilliant - you can shop, shop, shop!  (once you get to an 18 the world of clothing opens up - it's like an Aladins cave out there!)

So I might come back into the blogging world - facebook seems to have taken over a bit but you can't say what you really want and only people you know can see it and some of them just don't get it!

    Siz xx

The bike is not that scary and a real good altervative to the knee pounding of running (obviously in the summer when its warm and dry) good luck with the PT and keep us up to date and keep blogging. you make me laugh with your observations and escapades. good luck for 2011' added 6th Dec 2010
