My first marathon here I come by squa25

Hi folks, hope you are all exceedingly well and you’ve been enjoying the glorious weather.   I'd like to claim that I brought the glorious weather back with me, but I'd be lying.   Although I had glorious weather most of the time I was away, I pretty much got at least one rain shower or rather a torrent of rain at least once a day. 

I’m back from my jolly and a fantastic holiday it was too.  Won’t go into detail about it right now but amazing it was.  Saw plenty – under the sea and in the rainforest.  Highlights: diving in Sipadan followed by the night cruise on the river Kinabantangan.  I’ll post my pics on Facebook when I get a few spare hours.  I've not had a chance to look at them yet.

I got back on Thursday afternoon and have barely had a moment to think, what with stupidly going back to work on Friday.  Was meant to be an easy day, oooh how foolish and naive.   I'm in the process of selling my flat, having accepted an offer just before I left, so I now have the task of looking for somewhere to buy.  It’s not been a joyous activity so far....

Thank you to all of you who read and commented on my marathon blog. It seems so long ago now.  I was looking at the official photos earlier and there are some good ones, but disappointed that I didn’t get a good finishing photo.  But here’s one that I do like.  Me thinks I was coming into the finish there... 

I’ve started a new blog to mark what happens next, but to be honest  I’m not sure I’ll have much to write in it for a while. I have a vague idea of what’s next but time is scarce at the moment and this time, running will have to take the back seat.  I will however post about my Mt Kinabalu climb at some point soon, so look out for it! New blog is under this title:  My Foam roller needs a new challange.

I’ve still a few marathon blogs to catch up on so I’ll get to them as soon as I can.   Hope you’re all well.
