Quick 5miles while I had the chance tonight. Daughter was footy training at Cottam so took the opportunity of running on the grass around the footy pitches past the athletics track. It was blinkin cold though and in some parts where there was no shelter from the trees it felt like I was running in January. Good for the legs running on a softer surface, helped by the fantastic condition of those pitches. Back there tomorrow as its her athletics night ! I will be resting.
My 11 (yes 11 !!!) supporters on the day will be kitted out in rainbow coloured cowboy hats which my wife has now ordered, in the hope that I should be able to spot them on route somewhere.
Contemplating going on PNE on Sat as I believe Mr Beckham is guest of honour for a celebration of Sir Tom Finneys 90th birthday ! Should be a good day apart from what goes on between 3-3.45pm and 4.05-4.50pm !!!
