plenty more work needed
well yesterdays arrival of the gnr race pack spurred me on it also gave me an excuse to get out for an hr from the kids
so dusted off the old trainers prepared the music charged the batteries and off i went !! it was still a bit warm but there was a breeze every now and again which helped and i had a five mile route planned as i have been doing some 3 milers so thought i had better up the distance a bit
didnt think about that one very well the first 3 miles were pretty comfortable but that was the outward route the next two were up hill hence why they were so comfortable going out the legs felt good no twinges there but the breathing went a bit to pot so any tips on gettin that in control gratefully recieved!!!!!!!!! yes i know i need to stop smoking i am trying too........ and i have to confess i did end up stopping and walking for a bit to get my breath back a couple of times oh and does weight loss change the bodys running position as im sure im more upright than i was last yr?? maybe im just looking upwards more ??? oh yes and why are last yrs trainers sooo much more comfortable than this yrs i have tried to break the new ones in but they just havent got the same comfy points yet
oh yes and i also passed many other runners who all looked so much more comfortable running than me i wonder if they were spurred on by arrival of race packs too
today i feel ok legs are a bit stiff but otherwise good and i have another plod planned for tomorrow so untill then ill say goodbye take care all xxx

abbylovescakes 'I always have that problem of running past people who look a lot fitter, more comfortable, and just damn better than I do! Why is it that when I run I sweat, turn bright red and pant, whilst other people run at twice the speed and look graveful doing so! I still have the hope that maybe one day, when I'm better at this running malarky, the tables will turn. But I doubt it!' added 13th Aug 2009
