week 3

I am in week 3 of this training phase. My last 1/2 was in the end of August and I did a nice long period of maintanence of ~ 20 miles per week. My total mileage for the next 8 weeks will peak at 32 miles/wk, but my goal will be to work on my tempo runs most of all as well as incorporate fartleks and other intervals; though my marathon guru assures me speedwork is not as necessary as the tempo runs and just plan base mileage.
I'm excited to possibly PR. This is presumably a pretty flat course. I am used to hills here in New Hampshire and the best I have done in a very hilly 1/2 was 2:04
