I have been pretty pleased with my post half marathon progress. I managed a gym session on the following day plus 3 runs during the week which isn't bad considering it had to be fitted in around a job interview and all the prep that required. Mind you I was so hyper after getting the job it really motivated me. So my runs have all been short and fast. I did a warm up mile followed by a speedy mile and managed to equal my PB for that route despite going too fast on the warm up. I discovered I have lost all concept of pacing short runs since doing so many LSRs. I have really enjoyed the change of pace though. I did a 3 miler in 10:03 pace and even managed a 5 miler at 10:31 pace which is still 29 secs / mile off my PB for that distance but considering the injuries over the summer, I think shows good progress. I'm hoping to run a sub 60 6 miler soon
